ABOUT US
Gites at 12 Chemin des
Vergers, Le Villé are owned by Malcolm and Jasmine Walker who come
from Scotland. They have sympathetically renovated a traditional Vosgienne farm house into their own apartment and two self catering
gites. They have maintained the old style windows and room sizes,
and have installed well equipped and brand new kitchens and bathrooms.
All the rooms have been tiled and decorated to a high standard and
shutters have been added to all the windows.
Le Ville’
lies 500 metres up in the beautiful Vosges mountains of Lorraine on
the edge of Alsace, which is famous for its vine route, Christmas
markets, and picturesque towns and villages.
Although
there are no shops in Le Ville’ there is a grocery van that comes
every lunchtime, selling fresh bread and local produce, and the town
of St. Die des Vosges is only 3 Km away.
Accommodation
There are two Gites for letting all the year round, available from Saturday to Saturday.
SAPIN This is the largest of the two Gites and sleeps 6
people. It has its own entrance via the restored arched entrance of
the grange, still with the original sandstone floor.
